Tired

So lets do a update.. so I have done a lot of interesting things in the last month.

Let’s see.. I met a nice girl Lama.. who is going to create a book series and doll about me for her final art project.

I have started working on my resume in preparation of not being an Ameri Corps member any longer… although I think I might do a second year of it.

I got new fresh paperwork from the Peace Corps and a new doctor.

I finally got the curtain rod holders I have been meaning to get and now I just have to put them up and then make the new curtains for my room – InshaAllah when I am feeling better.

I have also come to the realization that I am no longer going to buy any hijabs.. I plan on making my own from now on.. whats the point of having a sewing machine if you never use it?

I finally got a lot of the SF Muslims I know to actually come out – cross the bridge and meet people in the East Bay for the Unity BBQ.

I have been crazy busy with my islamic classes on the weekend and then I added my good friend – Basel’s Improv class.. which is super fun and allowed me to meet new people. 🙂

I also have been making a point of getting out and socializing more.. although that means I have been going to bed a lot later.. which isn’t so good.. but the plague I have has me falling asleep at all sorts of weird hours because I have been awake or coughing at all sorts of weird hours..

I am not really sure what to think about this whole Peace Corps process given it seems to drag on forever.. but Allah knows best.
