Halal Fettucini Alfredo Carbonara

3 cups -Pasta – fresh or dry

8 Strips – Beef Bacon

Sauce – Ingredients:

1/4 cup butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Pasta —
Bring a pot full of water to a boil.
Add a table-spoon of olive oil.
Once the water is at a boil add the pasta into the pot.
Wait for the pasta to reboil or if its fresh pasta – leave it in for 2-4 minutes and then remove and strain in a colander.
Beef Bacon –
Defrost the bacon
In the same pot you used to boil the pasta –
Once its half way defrosted peel the 8 slices off of the package and roughly chop up the bacon and toss it in the pot.
Put the pot on medium heat and cook the bacon till its crispy.
Pasta Sauce (From Scratch) –

Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in parsley and serve.

If you don’t want to make the sauce from scratch – I highly recommend Cibo’s Naturals Creamy Alfredo Sauce as an easy cheat.

Once you have the pasta sauce ready – put the drained pasta in the bacon pot and pour the pasta sauce over the pasta and bacon.  Now toss or mix the ingredients together. Voila! Dinner is served.

Good news – I think it gets better on the second day as I had the leftovers for lunch yesterday.
