Keeping Time

*Note this is a ultra late post– since this actually refers to something I did last month – I just finally had time to write about it and post it :)*

I have been trying to come up with a meaningful item that would help I and my mom remember each other while I was gone.  I finally came up with getting matching dual time zone watches – one for my mom and one for me.

I didn’t purchases anything expensive or fancy.

I gave the watch to my mom and she was really excited.. only within a couple weeks she lost it.  😦

So I went out hunting for a new dual time zone watch and found one that was cheap and wouldn’t give me a grey hair if I lost it.

I hope our now mismatched watches allow our hearts to keep time together even if we are more than 4,000 + miles away.

  1. This is the sweetest post Ally, it makes my heart fill with love for you (as if there were any more room!) and I am deeply touched by the love conveyed in this simple entry by you. I just came across this today, Jan 3, 2012. I always have you in my heart, my sweet, darling daughter. I love you so very much.
