So in light of the fact it was the first iftar of Ramadan for me. I decided to celebrate by making some jam filled turnovers. These are super easy and super quick to make AND you can customize them to your own tastes!
2 cans of crescent rolls
1 jar of jam – I used Raspberry – but use what you have in the kitchen.
1 baking sheet
Some PAM cooking spray or something else to keep the jam and turn overs from sticking.
Cooking time 12- 18 Minutes
Oven Temp : 350 F
Open the crescent rolls tubes and let them warm up a bit if they have come out of the fridge – give them 5 minutes
Step Two:
Open you jam, grab a small spoon and pick up one square put a small spoonful of jam in the middle.
Now repeat with all other crescent roll triangles.
Step Four: Seal up the crescent rolls and pop them in the oven. Feel free to get creative how you seal up the rolls – as fancy or as simple as you want.
Step Five : Keep a close eye on the rolls so they don’t burn! Once they get golden pull them out and let them cool a bit.
An oven…is that the box underneath the hot round thingies?
Seriously, however, that’s a pretty cool little innovation. I salute your creativity.
Thanks.. I just wanted something sweet.. 🙂
Mmmmm-filled with guava jam and a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top….Thanks for the ideas!
Your very welcome!! Wasn’t it fun and easy?! Love that one!
